Shut Up! Flower Boy Band/ Shut Up and Run
I just finished the final episode of the series and am happy to say that the ending, although not what I had originally expected, was pretty good. I will not go into too much detail for those who have not finished the show but everything turned out alright in the end. I think the only thing that could have made it better would have been a return of Byung Hee, and trust me I kept wishing for that one.
Overall the show was good, not the best show I have seen but definitely not the worst. Let us be clear, tvN is making out like fat cats with this whole 'Oh!Boy' series. Putting hot young actors on screen for 16 episodes is bound to get you some good ratings, but with that in mind, if you take away the pretty faces you have a decently premised show.
The acting was a little thin in some places but I think the director did a good job getting the boys and the shots to induce some teary eyed moments, and again I was not coming into this show thinking that any of the actors would wow me with their skills, I am just pleased that none of them were exceedingly flat throughout the run of the show.
Anyway, final word: Watch worthy.
