The episode starts at the dinner we missed with Tae Wook's family. The whole family gathers, and the mother-in-law gossips and laughs at other people's misfortunes, and the kids get chastised for eating cookies during dinner. The Dreamer is still uncomfortable as she was witnesses this and is reprimanded by the in-laws for being so slow in planning the wedding, wanting to get it done with no embarrassment to the family.
After serving desert and tea, Good Wife is scolded by the mother-in-law because she allowed the Dreamer to give the children cookies, saying that once the Dreamer is official a part of the family, it will be up to Good Wife to keep her in line. She takes all this and only responds with a quiet 'Yes, I understand'.
Meanwhile Tae Wook drives Dreamer home and this is where episode 2 ended.
It turns out that Hyun Woo couldn't see The Dreamer sitting in the car with Tae Wook, and they
drive off in different directions. When she gets home she recieves good news from her friend in Jeju. The artist, the husband of her friend, that she went on the business trip to convince to join her radio show, has decided to fly to Seoul and make an appearance. Her friend also asks where she spent her days when she was in Jeju, deducing that she met a guy and had an affair, and Dreamer can't respond since it's all true.
In the morning Clueless is telling her husband how much she was hurt and angered by his reception at the news station. She tells him that she even thought of divorce, but then thought that he was doing all those things to remain professional while at work. That even though he should never treat her like that again, she was forgiving him. He looks first bewildered, and then bored by her speech. After that she reverts back into the perky and overly helpful housewife, that is over zealous in her love and attention to him.
After sending him off she calls her sister-in-law, the Fishwife who can't talk because she's going to meet her boss.
She wants to know why he doesn't like her. We see a few instants of her bringing her kids to work, or doing personal matters in the office, but as we all know, this is Korea, they're usually doing unnecessary things in the office, but he seems to dislike the fact that she's a woman, because even though she brought her child to work, or asked someone to watch over them, she was always good at her job. He says that he already has a man picked out for the promotion, and how dare she come to him this way when she's never even been the army. She responds 'How can you use that?! It's not like YOU did anything in the army except play soccer. Don't deny it, we all know how good you are at playing!" They get into a screaming match, and he says that he may have to really fire her because of the argument.
Meanwhile Good Wife is watching a field hockey game that her daughter is playing, cheering and enjoying herself all alone. The other moms sit together talking about how she's overreacting to a kids game, and that she's so pitiful for living with her husband and his family.
At the end of the game, she meets the curator and art teacher of the gallery she and mother -in-law frequent. The curator congratulates Good Wife and her daughter for a good game, saying she's there to serve sandwiches to some of her other gallery patrons. She even makes an effort to tell Good Wife not to
listen to their gossiping, and that she is thinking of displaying the Good Wife's painting. On the way home she receives a call from a television show, wanting to interview her, she firmly declines.
When the curator gets back to the gallery, she shows her true face to an empty room saying "just wait, i'll destroy you" and kicks the stand holding the Good Wife's painting to the floor. Leaving it laying there, she answers her cellphone and we learn that her name in Nam Mi Ra.
Hyun Woo and his business partner meet up with Good Wife's husband Tae Jin, and it's now clear that Tae Jin's company is the one with the slush fund. Hyun Woo isn't happy about meeting with a man with illegal activities attached to his business. They end up eating together, but Hyun Woo leaves because he really doesn't want to be involved with such a person. On his way home, he thinks of Dreamer and how hard he tried to make it back to their meeting spot on time.
The next day he calls the radio station, trying to get Dreamers number, but ends up only being able to leave his name and a message.
During the broadcast of the radio show Dreamer gets the post it note with Hyun Woo's information. Even though she ends up spending most of the afternoon thinking about the post-it, she leaves for Tae Wook's house for his mother's birthday party.
Inside Tae Wook's house Tae Jin and the father are arguing and breaking things in the study. Tae Jin wants to go into politics and his father says that he's a businessman, and should focus on that. They go back and forth and finally Tae Jin says that he is going to do it no matter what, and walks out of the room.
Everyone is concerned since he appears with a bloody lip, but he brushes them off and goes upstairs to his room. Good Wife follows him after Mother-in Law tells her to. When she catches up, he tells her that he knows about the interview and wants he to do it. All the while caterers set up food for the party.
Tae Wook calls Dreamer while she driving on the way to his house, and tells her that something has come up and she should just go home for the day, he apologizes and they hang up.
Rain starts to come down all of a sudden and of course this reminds Dreamer of the rain storm and the evening she spent with Hyun Woo in Jeju. She is so distracted she almost misses the green light. As she pulls away, she takes the post it out, holding on tightly for a moment before letting the wind carry it away.
That evening at Fishwife's house, there is garbage, open food containers, and just a great big mess everywhere. Her three kids have made a mess, the oldest no better than the youngest. She's tired and stressed and these kids aren't helping, she calls her husband, who is away camping with his friends and tells him she wants a divorce, which makes him come running home.
When he asks what's the matter, she breaks down crying saying 'I'm having a really hard time' and he takes her out for soju and pork skins. He so good, he even gets her to smile again. He gives her advice on how to handle her boss, saying she can't be a man for him, but she can flatter him to make him soften. Lightening strikes outside, with I'm assuming, inspiration for her.
In another restaurant, Clueless and English Speaker are having dinner with their son to celebrate their anniversary. When he asks how they met ES says he can't remember but of course
clueless can, she tells how they met in college, and then dated when he came back from the army, to which English Speaker replies "I've been dating your mom for 21 years" and he doesn't seem happy about it.
As they eat he notices his co-host, Cynthia Jung come in. She's with her husband, and at the first opportunity, he finds his way over to their table, and when her husband asks if he wants to join them,
he agrees even though Cynthia doesn't want him to. He tries to seem knowledgeable and sophisticated, but just kinda seems pompous and weird. He and the Cynthia find a way to sneak away and talk.
He wants to know why her husband is back so soon, and they end up flirting and casually touching each other.
After waiting for him a long time, Clueless needs to use the restroom, and asks her son to sit tight till she comes back, he agrees and she walks away. She sees her husband and the Cynthia together. She also has a lightening strike.
At home the Good Wife is sitting with her daughters as they do their homework. The storm scares them and they come running to their mother for a hug. The oldest asks where Tae Jin is, and Good Wife has no answer. Tae Jin is, at that moment, entering the art gallery. When he gets inside, Mi Ra greets him in a silk house robe. At first he's apologetic, thinking he's invaded her space, but she tells him that she left the door open on purpose. He smirks knowingly and she smiles. She shows him a painting, but he ends up asking about his wife's (i'm not sure if he knows), and she replies with a question "Do you have a summer home"
"Of course"
"Well, you can have that painting for free, and use it for kindling"
They laugh together and lightening strikes for them as well.
The next day, Dreamer is in a book store with her co-worker at the same time as Hyun Woo. They definitely see each other this time.

My Thoughts
So, I'm curious about this new character, Nam Mi Ra, the actress Shim Yi Young, was just in One Hundred Years Inheritance, and she was really good as that character. I'm wondering if she'll play a similar role or if she'll be just in the show to create drama. Hopefully there is an interesting and plausible back story for Mi Ra, because I would hate to see her being mean for no good reason.
It's becoming really apparent that Dreamer should NOT get married to Tae Wook. He seems like a really great guy, but his family is nuts. I think she would be miserable just like Good Wife. It just wouldn't be a good place for her, so right now I'm on team Hyun Woo, but really only because I don't know much about him yet.
I wonder what Clueless in going to do. Will she walk right up to her husband and smack him, or pretend like she never saw anything? I hope she keeps the back bone.
