Ha Ji Won as Kim Hang Ah
Ha Ji Won as Kim Hang Ah is killer. The production team is doing a great job with her wardrobe. During her "off" time from being a soldier, she's dressed very feminine, whether in a form-hugging black dress or a white and pink two piece ensemble with bows attached. I really like the fact that they are adding another element to her character through her clothing. I think, this is the first time that I was able to say that the wardrobe of a modern-day drama really had any effect on how I viewed the character.
Even though she is a kick-ass, gun-touting North Korean trained soldier, Kim Hang Ah still has the time to look cute and attractive. This is something that I was NOT expecting even with the drama poster that they released. I'm so used to her just being awesome and fearless that I never really considered how cute she really is. Saranghe Ha Ji Won!!

Lee Min Ki
The guy who only appeared in only 2 episodes of Shut Up! Flower Boy Band, but I couldn't forget. Lee Min Ki is a 27 year old actor who has also been in shows like Evasive Inquiry Agency , and Dal Ja's Spring. Handsome and adorable, I think he should be in more shows.

Not So Patiently Waiting
I put up a post about neglecting to get enough yarn for my dress and tank top project and now I'm waiting for my shipment to come in. Why does it always seem as though UPS only comes at the end of the day, if you're sitting at home waiting for your package? If I'd gone to work today, the guy would come at 8am and tell me that since no one was at home at the time of delivery, I need to pick the package up at some impossible-to-find UPS location. Life.
Anyway, I can't wait for all my goodies to get here. Will upload pictures to show all the great things I got.

The King 2 Hearts: Early Thoughts
Literally, just finished watching the first episode. The premise
of the show, for those of you who don’t know is, an irresponsible prince gets roped
into joining a collaborative training camp for North and South Korea. On the
threat of being kicked out of the monarchy, the South Korean Prince Lee Jae Ha
(Lee Seung Gi) has no choice but to join the team. He soon meets the only
female member of either team, North Korean Special Forces Officer Kim Hang Ah (
Ha Ji Won). From first impressions they don’t like each other, but then it
seems as though Jae Ha is going to have a problem with almost everyone in the
show. This little prince has no desire to be king, let alone do or help anyone
else but himself. Seung Gi is very convincing as the spoiled and careless
prince. But I already knew that from his previous role in Shining Inheritance.
I’m sure the time spent with kick-ass Hang Ah will make him
mature.
I wanted to watch this show because of Ha Ji Won, if you
haven’t noticed I love girls that give as good as they get. Girl Power!! Ha Ji Won
doesn’t disappoint here either. Even in the first episode, she found the time
the beat the living crap out of some North Korean officer. What did she get for
her trouble? A split lip. Classic. :)
The writers are doing a good job of making her more than one dimensional. Even though
she had to wipe the floor with some guy, other aspects of her personality were
shown. She went on a blind date where she was shy and unsure, and upon entering South Korea and seeing posters of Bi (Rain) and Hyun Bin she
turned into a fan girl. Hopping up and down in her seat, she listed off facts
about each man, and gushed about their military merits.
I think this is going to be a really good show. If you were
hesitating to watch this one like I was, I say just jump right in, I doubt you’ll
be disappointed.

Big News
<3 K-Drama News
<3
The Hong Sisters, the dynamic duo that they are, have
announced a new drama script. The Hong Sisters who have written seven completed
dramas including, ‘Best Love’, ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’, ‘You’re Beautiful’,
and one of my favorites ‘My Lady’, are with ‘Big’. A drama about a 17 year old
boy who’s soul is transported into the body of a 30 year old. Sounds like the
Korean take on 17 Again, but since I love that premise and all of its
adaptations, I think that the show should be pretty entertaining, especially
once you throw in a few misunderstandings, a love triangle, and moments so cute,
you wish they were happening to you.
Now, the squeal worthy factor here is that Lee Min Jung and
Gong Yoo have been cast as the lead couple, as Gil Da Rin and Kang Kyung Joon, respectively.
I have been waiting for another drama from Gong Yoo for so long; I thought it
was never going to happen. I think the pairing between GY’s smoking hotness and
charisma will blend well with the beauty and spunk of LJM. miss A’s Suzy has
also been casted.
The first script reading is set to take place on April 14th
and the drama is supposed to start airing on June 4th. I cannot wait
for this drama to start!! Yay Lee Min Jung and Gong Yoo!!! <3 <3 <3
